hi! a friend of mine, also a mille owner ('99 model), has a weird problem. ever since he's had the bike, almost a year now has had a problem with efi showing up on the dash and the bike going into the limp mode. iv've had a look at the bike but i haven't had much time on my hands to fix it up properly. the problem is like this: in neutral all is fine, as soon as you put it in gear efi shows up on the dash and the bike loses power. i disabled the neutral sensor so it always shows n and the problem went away, no power loss (no obvious power loss anyway), all is fine. we switched neutral sensors between our bikes but no effect. has anyone got a clue?
oh, with the neutral sensor connected on the diag it shows 11 and 12, crankshaft sensor and cam sensor. with the neutral disconnected it shows nothing. could it be just some rotten/de-isolated wiring causing all this? sorry for my english but i'm not a native english speaker...
