Ive on just found this and some will be using it already but there is an an ebay accelerator for internet explorer which means you can highlight an ebay number and click on the accelerator to take you there
You just need to add it from the accelerator menu
highlight number and click on arrow
then all accelerators
then find more accelerators and add the ebay one

p.s. and i know already that I.E. is rubbish and all those other browsers are so much better
