A Triumph Speed Triple 955 was on before me and made 113hp but with a very straight power curve, no dips or troughs.

There is still a minor ditch on torque side, however, the ditch was deeper with Arrow chip. Dr. Rossi chip fixed if quite a bit. I am not very anxious on spending 300€ on to PC III so this is enough for me. 10Nm and 300€ would be 30€/Nm and that is too much....

PLEASE could someone help me understand the power curve.
It is very straight at the beginning (the dyno man even commented on how nicely the bike pulled from low RPM) but then theres a dip :dunno and then it carrys on rising smoothly.
is this dip just an inherant characteristic of the motor?
I would like to understand what makes the power curve this shape :dunno
Also a better understanding of the air/fuel graph wouldnt go a miss, so if someone could explain/clarify this.
Thanks :thumbup
PLEASE help.
