Dr Rossi's been busy !

Looking at some other threads today seems dr Rossi has been a busy man.

Ordered a chip for my '03 which arrived really quickly. Got it in this week, been out today for a decent blast and have got to say what a revelation

for anybody that uses your bike every day, ie commuting, this is a must.
Much smoother at lower revs, virtually eliminated the jerkiness around town (much nicer than consistently slipping clutch), and just generally smooths things out.
Wasn't after more power (bloody things quick enough as it is) but makes a great bike even greaterer. Throttle response just seems crisper

For anybody who's like me IE toolkit ********, please dont worry because the instuctions that Alain sends with chip are very easy to understand and he was very helpfull to myself who's not been involved in the forum for long.

A BIG THUMBS UP Alain, really appreciate your help. :thumbup

Tell me more, any links to more of his work? I'm after a chip for my 02 R, smoother throttle would be great especially as I take the GF pillion (ouch my wrists)

i have had a lot of dealings with alain real nice bloke and he really knows his stuff (hes done substantial testing and lots of different eproms on the market), i would send him a pm with your requirements and he'll sort you out

also agree with whats been said, alain is very pleasant and works wonders. got one from him last week and its very nice low down :doug
Ps: thanks for the coffee Alain :thumbup

I got a DrRossi eprom.

Iv got an 03 Edwards, but was running a standard chip. Very rough & glitchy. I was advised to get an Eprom with a good ignition map, then fit a PC3 & dyno it up.

So I PMd DrRossi from the zone with my bike details, and not long afterwards I got my eprom. Fitted it - didnt work. PMd DrRossi back, & had a new chip before I knew it. Fitted it, & done a few miles. It is a vast improvment on my origonal. In fact if Id have known before I probably wouldnt have PC3d it. But as I already got the thing Im going to anyway. Will let you know the outcome.
