I can barely lift me hands to type cos I'm knackered. I've been at Donington today and had a smashing time. Cracking weather

What I really wanted to post up was my experience of spending a day with the suspension guys. I fought my natural tight-arse tendencies and shelled out the £45 cost. In a nutshell it's by far the best money I've spent on the T to date. After an initial set-up, I came in after each session and they tweaked the settings so it was very noticeably much better in the following session. What most impressed me is that they instantly recognised me as a complete ******* and were able to put questions to me that I could both understand and answer. I can't recommend them highly enough; '100% Suspension' who are at both No Limits and Focussed Events days. They'll also spend another day with me free if I see them at another Trackday this year.
I've got to tell yer boys, it rides like an absolute ****** peach now.

Gonna curl up in a corner now

PS they said the standard T sachs shock is a fookin joke (me got ohlins), but I guess we all know that :thumbup

Doesn't hurt to repeat it from professionals - if you haven't ridden a sorted Tuono, you think the pogo stick is normal, after all it IS better than most of the opposition anyway, just not as good as it can be.

Glad you had a good day, see you next week (If I can get all these firkin jobs done in time :( )

Sounds like you had a good day then Rusty,

As bad as peps keep saying the sachs shock is, i have had a honda varadero for the past 4 years which is soft and sloppy. compared to that its a dream.
But that said i have never been one for messing around with the suspension, like most of us, i would probably end up making it worse

Sounds like you had fun. Rub it in why don't ya. Never managed to get to brands as to much on at work. Sat their looking out the window thinking rain you ****** so I didn't feel I was missing out on much, then thought bout you n donny today...

...So prayed for snow, lol

Others will be able to confirm, but I think the Gen2's shock is a lot more basic than the Gen1. Plus you've got about a grands worth of ohlins forks so you're already spoilt. :drool

PS that comany's based in Whitwick if it's of use to you

Robbo, Haha

Ya bell end

If it makes you feel better; me team's currently losing, so it's not all going Rusty's way

dont get me started on the standard shock thing, i might start ranting again !!!

You'll be getting the front fettled then ???

yes mate, may just give it go.. Although the limitation may not be the shock but more me...
what they called, was the 45 quid a one off for track days

100pcsuspension.co.uk or summet close to that

Dunno, for £45 I could use them all day (and another) so might be less for a one-off consultation. I saw first hand that he works for the BSB teams (Glenn Richards and others were there today) so I reckon a lot of his trade is track based

Hey Rusty,...you did'nt happen to notice what the spectator areas were like did you? Just wondered if they have been resurfaced or still ankle deep in mud from all the construction work.

Of course I was joking. Where's the pics, thread is worthless without :)

told you it wont worth it mate

PS the full GP circuit is now back in action. Be careful at the Melbourne hairpin if you're on 15:42 gearing! I bout filled me pants when it reared up when I still had it half cranked over on the exit

Didn't notice tbh mate but there is a LOT of construction work ongoing. I reckon they're gonna be pushed for WSB
