Does this look right to You???

Cleaned the front wheel and all the calipers and its great now :thumbup but i tried the pumping the forks to set the front wheel properly. But I cant remember how the front axle was before.

Does this look right lads??

I wasnt to sure if the forks were splayed to much?

everything seems fine .

In the bottom pic mate, it looks like the spacer is sitting quite far out from the wheel??? Can you check if there is any movement?? I've just put the wheels back on the tuono after a tyre changeand mine seemed to be a much tighter fit than yours??????

Yeah ill have a look M8 you might be right

Andi did you do the bouncing of the forks before tightening the pinch bolts or not?

Yeah Tim mate, I did. Lossely tightened the axle nut, bounced the forks, tightened the pich bolts on the forks, bounced it again and fully tightened the axle nut.

As i said Tim bud, my front spacer on the front sits at least half inside the centre of the wheel so yours looks like it's sticking out a little bit much!

I'll go take a pic of mine now and stick it on this thread, gimme 5 mins buddy!!

Tim mate, cancel that last post!! Had a good look and yours is bang on the same as mine!! I was talking ***** buddy!! It's the rear spacers that sit further in:stupid:stupid:stupid

As for the calipers buddy, no, I secured them in place to allow the calipers and disks to marry up then tighten the pinch bolts!!

Im more of prick for not looking at the job before starting lol and i snapped the feccking bleed nipple off the MC yesterday lol, luckily it didnt undo , and I WD40 overnight aswell

Tim/Andi, as you both know I can do pretty much all things, some better than others but in life some things are not meant to be and therefore I never play with wood or fire. :biggrin

Past experiences have shown me that just because you can work to extreme tolerances in engineering and design it doesn't necessarily make you an excellent carpenter. :roll

In short, I'm crap at making things from wood and if the only profession available to me was as an arsonist I would most probably be on the dole. :dowhat

oh. I'm intrigued now. Tbh i can't see how bouncing the suspension can make a difference. If you haven't loaded the forks or moved them, surely if the axle goes in then it's all straight?
