Does anyone else get pins & needles when riding a twin?

Nope no pins and needles but one hell of a hard on when i ride it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

hi
i used to suffer really badly with numb hands i put some stomp grip on my tank i can grip the tank better with my knees when breaking it takes a lot of weight of my hands ,loads better
regards bones

Apparently the Futuras bar ends are heavier, might be worth looking into or if its extreme sew another couple of layers of leather to your gloves soles......or stop wanking lol

I get numb hands, doesnt matter what speed i do, or what i'm wearing, saturdays little jaunt down to bristol took me nearly 4 hours to get the feeling back into my hands to be able to skin up my smoke tidy.

Bike has stock ends on, but the buzz from riding her, will mean it's a small amount of pain compared to the enjoyment i get from her, especially the ride back with lee and paul.

heres to much numbness and a great biking summer......:thumbup

By the time youll get to the Man beanie, youll have to by tailor mades lol

I'm sure hevier bar end weight will do the trick. The extra weight will dampen the vibrations. Not sure how much hevier tho, maybe I'll take a look. . .

No bad vibes at all on my '01,but they seem to vary motor to motor.'Mate's '03 is not so smooth with lower miles.

Get a course with the Griffster. He explains all this

You need to adjust your levers up or down, the position at the minute is restricting the blood flow to your hand and fingers hence the numbness.

so there :eatcorn

I trust you little1, always trust a welder :devious

How does that work when most of my miles have been on the motorway:dowhat

Dude thats a fair point i didnt read your post properly re Bristol
All i can say is give it a go, what you gotta lose?
I have and it works, just personal experience

I get it when my palm is pushed hard on the bars. I have to rotate my hand around to take the pressure off. Everyones different as they have blood running through different areas within their hands and wrists. All you can do is experiment with your riding position......or wear thicker gloves...or try to grip the bars a little lighter......or even swop your bars for some higher rise items?

what year bar ends from the futura would fit my 2000 model, as i will get some ordered ready for the TT run later this month

First thing to do, as mentioned earlier, is to adjust your levers so that when you put your fingers on them they form a straight line from your shoulders to your fingertips.
Try that first before doing anything else, it's free!
