Guys, I'm in the process of fitting the 150amp solenoid to the bike, and whilst removing the original one, this is what I have found.....

I assume this is wired to the alarm/immobiliser and wondered if I need to fit the new one in the same way?? Reason I ask is that, ideally I don't want to cut the wire of the new solenoid!!!! So...... Is this required or can I bypass this part and the bike will still fire up and alarm disarm without issue???

Cheers

That's a standard alarm installation rewire (and not very professional). Its purpose, of course, is to hand control of the starter motor servo to the alarm. Cut back and insulate the two black alarm wires, then just plug in the new solenoid into the OE plug.
