As mine's under warranty I won't be doing it in the near future. Just gives them an excuse for anything that may go wrong. Cheers for the info though Badger.

Thanks for the info badger,I haven't got around to doing it yet, maybe before the summer

What air filter you going to use sharky :dunno

rsvsteve,

the JR Filter R95138 is a good choice, only requires a small amount of trimming to fit. It's a Saab 9-5 filter so you should be able to get one from a Saab Specialist.

Theres a link here to a guy who's used one.

Clicky

Cheers,

Ritch !!!

Dont think there was a thread for deatailed air box modifications, well not the one Badger's got. You'd best pm him your e mail and i'm sure he will send you the info on DIY air box mods :thumbup

Not much really as he has only gained a small amount of airbox volume as all he has done is raise the airbox lid by 8.5mm, with mine you gain all the space under the tank as your airbox, the bigger the better for volume, also, you do not need to buy a new air filter as the filter itself will hardly give you any BHP benefit, the benefit of a K&N or similar is you can use it time after time by just cleaning it, the standard filters need to be replaced.

So, use you standard one if it's in good order if you wish, and put the saving towards some other goodies:thumbup
