Sat on the bike this afternoon at a particularly slow set of temporary traffic lights I noticed that the front brake fluid reservoir cap has corroded quite badly, I thought it was plastic but it seems not. I'm going to order a new cap and one for the clutch from Oberon, but which colour do I go for? Common sense tells me black or silver but I was also wondering about blue? I have a black Factory with blue preload adjusters which might look good but on the other hand would it look a bit chav like? :dunno

Have you guys got any views?

Silver looks good so dose black:dunno how much are they mate i need a new one

Front brake cap is about £21, clutch or rear brake cap about £18 each.

Pic in the first post Tim:dunno:eek:
Colin, bear in mind that unless the colour matches exactly, it'll look kak, Leaving silver or black as the safest choice.

Titanium................. I purchased mine from the ducati bloke on flea blay, all 3 caps can be bought in a one-er it's cheaper that way (£52.50 inc P & P). They also match my gilles rearsets. Buy direct from his website, it's cheaper than ebay.......see link below (Carbon trader) I sent him an email first to check they would fit............. and they are the exact same size as the Ducati 1098 ones, once I bought em I had emails from him confirming postage and such like.....he is a top bloke. They arrived next day and I ordered em at midday.....sweet!

Top quality, put new fluid in the lines while I was at it.........

My brake reservoir cap was corroded too, can't fault the new stuff, Ti, Silver or Black, don't put blue or red on as it will look kak.

My opinion of course.

I bought some of those about a month ago, they look cool, much better than the originals but they were starting to corrode.
Oh I got the titanium colour :thumbup
But as someone mentioned silver or black are the safest options

Thanks for your views guys. I think I agree that blue unless an exact match will look cack. I'm going to play safe and go for black. :biggrin
