Hi guys, i could do with some help!
I am trying to set my TP-0, although my diag wires dont appear to be doing anything. I have removed the right vent pannel, found the 2 disconnected wires, connected them, unscrewed the fast idle, turned on ignition and only standard readings displayed on dash? I have even run the engine with the wires plugged together and still no readings.
Any idears?
Regards,
Simon.

Anyone had expirience of this?
I took the bike out today after fitting race can, modded headders, renagade stlye air box, old style air boot and a dr rossi chip. Tbh i was dissapointed with the gains, im hoping that sorting the tps will improve things, although i cant tell what the tps reading is as above!

Not sure but I also have a META alarm fitted that is not working properly (Crackling and draining the battery in a few days).
I have taken the fuse out of the alarm and it lets me ride the bike no probs.
I am going to remove the alarm soon and hopefully the diag will work again but if not I will trace the wires back in the loom.
One half of the plug goes to ground (single wire side) so that is an easy check to make.

My alarm is working fine, i will check the ground wire though. Let me know how you get on!

The alarm is the cause then, surprised it only appears to be us that have expirienced this. Im not willing to do away with the alarm so ill see if i can find away to sort it.

need to take a look at a wiring diagram. my alarm only cut 2 circuits one of which was the starter solenoid so it must have been the other one that was the problem.

Right. Since fitting some performance mods mine is jerky below 3000 and at certain revs does have a slight lag when i crack it open, hopefully its just the tps but im thinking ill probably need my tbs setting up aswell :-(
