They get a reasonable write and as it happens was going to look at getting a pair after my Swift Torsion -X's expire.
Think they sell here for about £160-00 ish

They are supposed to be very light & have a tough brace system, the toe slider is replaceable magnesium.I have a winning bid on some for AUS$249.oo, they say RRP is AUS$549.oo Fingers crossed!

The only boots on the market that are any good are SIDI, Alpinestars or TCX, I'd personally steer clear of anything else, I work in the motorcycle clothing trade, and these 3 are the only manufacturers that get hardly any returns.

I really wouldnt go anywhere near Puma, none of the MotoGP boys wear them, and theres a very good reason for that!

not thought of that, you have to agree they look sweet as, smx plus that i wear are so comfy though

Thing is not all of us can afford what I class as silly money for a "brand", AStars have had some dubious qualtity products in the past.

For example I have had 3 pair's of Swift Torsion-X boots, the first pair did what they were meant to do after a trackday crash at over 100 mph, so I replaced them with the same again another high speed trackday crash (my mate missed his braking point and used me as the brakes instead ) , he was wearing AStars boots one of which failed and he broke his ankle, mine were again destroyed but did what they were meant to do ...I walked away (felt like breaking his good ankle but as I was walking and he wasnt .......). btw My "unfashionable" Akito leathers didnt survive but guess what I have another pair that I now wear.
My point being that expensive doesn't make it best :smilie

I agree with senna! I've got a pair of sidi vertibra boots, an they've helped save my ankles from many a crash:biggrin

Kiwi, not saying there are anything wrong with other brands and to me a label does not make it fashionable, its all about the fit. astars are a particularly wide boot which suits my feet.
Aus how you getting on with bidding for these boots anyhow??

I now own them matey :D, $249 depreciating Australian dollars :thumbup
Now i have to await for their arrival from Interstate.
Don't get out on the circuit often, so not worth spending megabucks.
Don't need em for the street as i have Rocket Bang Boots for general riding.

Some of the 250 GP riders do wear these Diadoraz :nana

Now, with a name like Rocket Bang Boots, you can't leave us without a picture of these! :burnout

Our resident superhero in pants Mr Milleboy may well be in need of a pair for when his cape fails him :devious
