There is no extra restriction for Cali to my knowledge just an extra evap canister linked to the fuel tank breather and the usual cat in the exhaust which all models have.

You can easily remove the canister but it's purely there to stop gas tank vented fumes escaping unchecked to atmos and passes them through a charcoal filter. It has no performance detriment or gain at all.
It can be a pain as it often doesn't vent properly and pressurises the tank.
The air flapper on the front you mention is not a performance retriction but is there for a reason. Unless you ride at high speeds or race i would leave it be.

Hey spoonz thanks,I was just wondering.I did not think it would do much my 02 has been striped of all that stuff and its been chippped and all the little go fast stuff. I will leave the 07 alone ,I will just do the regular stuff gearing and high flow filter.thanks for the input d
