Dropped mine in the garage breaking the brake lever..Bought a pattern one, £8 or thereabouts two years ago..Can't tell it from the original either in looks or use..

Why?

Has it gone all yellow/flaky and grubby like the original ones? :doug

My pattern £12 special off Flea Bay is much better than the OE front brake lever. Just wouldn't do a cheap Flea Bay brake lever, too many horror stories.

I bought a pair of Black levers of Egay for about 30 quid, tolerance is better than OEM and they are still got their original finish.

Well thats answered something for me, i wondered what had been put on my levers to make them go like this, now i know its the ****** monkey metal aprilia use, reckon the yellow is piss as in piss poor quality, but then aprilia would say its gold, hence the stoopid price.

Buy one from Ducati or i think an Aprilia Rs250.

When my 2000 bike fell over i got a new one and the dealer supplied i think an Rs250 indicator and lever as he said it was les than 1/3 the price of the rsv but the same parts ? :dunno

Not 100% sure it was Rs250 though.

Wow ! When I broke a Suzuki clutch lever and had to pay £30 I complained loudly and was told by the dealer " Think yourself lucky,an Aprilia Mille one costs £90+ " :puke

Surprisingly, (as he is also an Aprilia dealer) he then said " But most people go to the local Ducati dealer 'cos exactly the same Brembo part is only around £60 )

Not sure what model Duc it was, but a quick wander round the showroom should yield results :thumbup

Personally I'd get pattern ones from someone like M & P or Busters and make them fit.
