Just got a new 2010 tuono 1000r factory. When I first turn on the key i get a message-"Enter your personal code" then everything comes on and I can start the bike.Whats that about?

There was a post on this a few months back - sorry can't remember exactly what was said - the manual does explain it if you can find it

You probably also see ST symbols - I think I read something about a tyre pressure record - again it is explained in the manual

I have exactly the same thing - it used to bother me now I just ignore it and enjoy riding the bike

Ignore it. Just if you want added security and as it hasn't been set up, its goes off. Not many use it.

It was me who posted in a few months back.

Just ignore it, as the others have said, its for additional security or summit to do with spare keys.

Thanks everybody,

I am really liking the bike.trying to dial in the suspension and get to the run in milage before the weather goes south(really)New Englang you know.Comming off of 50 years of BMW's,H.D's,Triumphs and Ducatis.
