hi all
just a quick one my battery went flat coz i left the heated grips on, there wired up direct from the battery<i have now took them off> charged the battery up, then went out on it after about a mile it comes up service at the bottom of the dash and the red triangle at the top right everything mechanical is ok, i stop and turn the ignition off then set off again and comes back on after a few more miles, my guess is it just needs resetting due to upset signals and voltage readings due to can bus wireing if this is the case just need to have it plugged in on the dealer computer? is there a way of resetting it with out taking it to a main dealer<join up the posative and negative wires of the battery, of course when not connected to the battery i aint that stupid l o l>
the bike runs fine by the way reguardless

ok how do you do that

what i mean by service is a problem fault
not a service due warning though
as it is red not orange and no orange spanner up<only done 3,000miles>

Bats, tell im he needs to do the code with the service warning still on the dash, ie when yer stop use the kill button and don't turn the ign off.

Please.

Right mr.
Kill the engine with the stop button RH switches. go to the menu.

Feck this it'll take all effin night.

Go look in yer manual if yer ain't got one then go to AF1 forum and do a search for the service codes and how to access them.
If yer still stuck pm me.

Best I can do the noo mucker.
