You mean the linkpipes will not go into the cans???
Are ur cans the right model for ur bike???
 
Correct ones, its just that the link pipes seem a little too big, only by a very small margin. Does heating up metal make it expand or shrink? If I heated the link pipe it may go into the can!
 
are they new? complain i bet they send you out some new ones

i had a set of these and sold them on these are offensively loud...did you buy their baffles? they dont really help either , i suggest fitting them and then trying to sort a decent baffle out as you will get plod on your tail
 
Thanks for the reply, he has asked for photographs which i have sent. They just seem a minute little bit too big. I will see what he says. Offensively loud, OMG. I have Akrapovics on at the moment but just wanted a different look.
 
Can you take your link pipes off like my gen 1 akra ????
If you can try puttin in the freezer for an hour bear in mind though once you fit em and they expand inside the can (if they shrink enough to allow fitment) they will be a bastid to separate again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best idea is to contact the seller...........

dont get me wrong i like a loud can but you may be a little shocked...he sells baffles but they go between the linkpipe and can and dont really do much ,but theres a guy on ebay that will custom make the baffles for your size cans approx 15 each i think

in all seriousness look how slim+short the cans are they dont have a lot of sound deadening in they wont actually stop a lot of noise...i too fancied getting shot of my dual renegades buts these were a step too far noise wise
 
Just been into the attick, when I bought the bike it had Akro's on and there was a collector box which I presume must be the standard system. I guess the collector box on mine is for the Akro systems collector box!!

No wonder they wouldnt go on so easily.

My Akro cans must be part of a full system then. I suppose I should strip it all down and start again by putting the original collector box on. Mmmmm.
 
They are loud but don't they sound bloody lovely!!!!!!:devious I'm due to start a new job at the airport in March that involves shift work with 3 am starts, the neighbours are gonna looooooove me!!
