Dandy new levers, cheap too

Wierd **** alloy innit. you got me a bit frieked out now :eek:lol:crazy

Nothing to overtighten. That lever is just cheap crap. It has broken at the adjuster, the bit that goes into the master cylinder & gets tightened is the "other bit"

what you are seeing is WHY brake & clutch levers are expensive - they are high spec and sort of vital. Imagine that happening as you were braking hard for an Alpine hairpin.......:eek

Fookin ell don't you start. Already had a mare yesterday with em. Bad omens. :crazy They have snapped in a wierd place, should of looked closer, tell your mate I'm sorry. I can see how they've snapped there but I always wip the nut up underneath and just hold the screw bit so you'd think they'd snap underneath eh ?
These are them

Company look genuine, so should be OK. I used an aftermarket one after I binned the Tuoldo for a year or so. I assume they have just anodized or powder coated them black?

Dunno what they've put on them, they do look decent though and the span adjuster is a decent fit not wobblin all over the place. Getting back to the overtightening issiue. I would have thought it almost impossible due to the design of the pin/bolt. Its only threaded a certain length so you can't over do it. The nuts a locker so its obvious not to overtighten it really. The lad it happened to knows what he's doing so fook knows what caused it. Metal fatigue :dunno
