Dandy new levers, cheap too

Put these on today chaps, what dya think ? 30 quid of E bar gum bay. Chaps advertising them as Ducati replacement ones but they are a Brembo copy and fit Falco's too. Cheap and cheerfull and look better than the silver ones I reckon. Had some serious grief with the little plunger/push rod on the clutch tho, I tell thi. Hope Doc likes em

Funny... that Factory looks a lot like Nobsters... I wonder if it has chavvy gold grills too...

nice block paving though, sure i,ve seen it before somewhere.....
 
Nobster I approve, I like satin black perhaps it appeals to my darker side ! Gold just looks tacky even the factory frame in my opinion and I am entitled to that LOL . I had a strong dislike for the gold wheels on my TL which is why I left them covered in chain lube and brake dust.
 
I am still looking at the CRGs from AF-1, and some ASV on flea-Bay. Just have to get some dosh as I am also trying to bid on some cans (thanks paul!).

I'm rather taken with the ASVs too. Pazzo is such a big thing now, I think yer paying a large cut for the name. Kinda like Akropovic. I'm not denying the quality of build, just a little curious as to why there are others with the same materials and build quality that can charge much less. Ah weelp. Such is my cynical heart.

I like ASV's and Pazzo's etc @ ££££. Just got higher priorities at the mo. Couldn't resist these @30 quid a set. I snapped the original brake lever and the replacement was a slightly different colour and it bugged me. These will do till after Crimbo. :yes
 
Thirty quid a set vs a hundred and change a set? I understand your reasoning completely. You sure you don't share some blood with me and Sean, Nobbie? And as mentioned, what makes the others so ******* dear?
 
Suposed to offer better control, adjustability and feel but :dunno. The shorter ones shoudn't snap like the long ones :dunno. Always preferred shorties on off road bikes but always been happy enough with the standard levers on me road bikes. Did toy with the idea of some Pazzo's but:dunno. All down to personal preference at the end of the evening.

S'ok sean... chavvy nob is just a stage. He'll grow up and realize that understated and parts for go, not show are where it's really at.
 
Thought gold was a fast colour, thats why the Factories have gold frames innit ?????????????? More airodynamic or summat :yes
 
Fookin ell thats no good is it. Agree with one of the comments that they've been tightened up to much though. Thanks for the alert. Like I say though they'll be off after crimbo for some :dunno anyone got a set for grabs.

No worries bud....would hate to see something similar happen!!!

As for being overtightened :dunno:dunno but Alan is a pretty handy bloke so doubtful bud.......but you never know!!!
