I've fired up the edwards for the 1st time proprtly tonight (before I got drunk!) new cans etc and everything fine.

what is daig 0 and diag 1 both showed on the right hand side of the dash.
 
You have the bike in diagnostic mode and it is showing the TPS settings.
Behind the right side panel there will be a single wire with a connector in the middle, just unplug it...
