Crashed at Northwest 200 and need help !

Hi guys,

Its been a while since I posted on here what with building a house this past year, keeping my work going and raising my daughter. Needless to say that bike time has been to a minumum since last summer. It therefore was with a glint in my eye that I took the bike out and prepared it for the annual family bike fest that is the Northwest 200 road race :thumbup.

It was not however with a glint in my eye that I experienced being rear ended by a ZZR 1100 at 35mph while waiting to turn right at a junction . Worse still it turned out to be my brother on the ZZR with our cousin on behind him.:dowhat

That was Saturday night and this morning I am very very sore:hmm. Have brused ribs, busted big toe and brusing to my arm but so far no wiplash. Basically when my 'Bro' hit me I was catapulted off the left side of the bike and landed hard on my left side, head first thus destroying my Spanking New (FF-5 LIMITED EDITON "AKIYOSHI-GP") Lid :angry that had only been on one outing the week previous) and also destroying my Dianese Jacket.

My RSVR Aprilia (RSV of the Month April 2008) did not fair well and I am now in need of many many parts. It is for this reason that I am writing this post.

If anyone has any of the following (growing list) of parts available for sale or donation please let me know. This is just the start of the list and I will be able to make it more complete when the pain subsides and I can get to stripping down the bike.

For now here is the obvious dead parts. The model is 2003 RSVR.

Front Left Side Indicator
Rear Number Plate Holder Bracket
Rear Bodywork (around seat), although Seat Cowl survived
Rear lights
Underseat tray
Carbon Fibre Hugger
Carbon Fibre Heal Plates

Also most likley

Rear Subframe etc etc

Thats bad news there mate, I would have poked him in the eye and punched him on the nose for that...............I hope he is funding the repair bill, if not sell one of his kidney's !!

I think I'd be claiming on his insurance TBH, that's what it's for after all.
See if your house insurance covers your lid and bike gear, most do.

Glad ya never got hurt too badly ol mate! How'd yer kamikaze brother come out of it all? Give him a couple more bruises for good measure

Thanks for the comments guys. My Brother's bike is pretty much written off. The entire front end is mush. He however came off ok with just a sore arm (impacted with my elbow) and sore nuts :biggrin. He managed to stay upright after impact and just coasted to the embankment.

Does anyone out there have any parts that they can sell me?

If not could you advise where I should go in the UK/Ireland for these parts at best prices ?

I got the new FF5 from the Japanese site. Their new FF5 is the best lid I have ever owned, a superb fit and really well made. The painwork on the limited edition is superb.

I've just been scanning their shop on Fleabay after snapping off a lug on a footpeg :roll :rant... quite a handy place to scan through if your looking for parts :thumbup
