Crash protectors

R&G's all the way but make sure you fit top and bottem ones as i had bottem only on my 06 rsvr and it made a big mess

dam thing pivioted on it and smashed the headlight , ground a hole in the tank and messed up the paint work

but seen many mille's go down with them both on and it didnt turn out as bad

that's the tiny detail people sometimes misunderstand... the lower ones are meant to protect the clutch housing and engine casings... NOT the rest of the bike!...

i'd say the 'bodywork protection' is for 85% for the top sliders, only 15% for the lower ones... the lower ones have to be looked at as an 'enhancement kit' for the top ones.. other bike types with damage prone clutch housings and engine casings usually are also catered for with an 'extra' lower kit, like the yamaha R6 and R1... whereas other types don't 'really' need them.
 
How do the exhausts fair out in a crash,I've heard of a few denting the swingarm,do the lower mushrooms prevent this at all?

Ive only got the bottom ones :eek: best get on flea bay an order some top ones then :thumbup

when mine went down it messed everything up exhaust did dent the swingarm but i think it depends on how hard the bike drops
