It never hurts to ask for a discount, especially in these times. If he's that small then his overheads will be minimal, and what's the worst he can say...no:eatcorn
Do you reckon he could put "the RSV ZONE" logo onto it somehow?:dunno
We could just do the lower set for now and tell him that we want the rest once a fitting has been done

Sounds like a plan mate, however the use of the forum logo has to be agreed by CrashTD and to be honest if I was making them I would put my number and name on them. :doug

Who is it who's in contact with him from here?:dunno
I contacted him via ebay and said I was from this site but no discount offered. Would like to get some sharpish as I'm going to see Griff soon and apparantly he fills you full of confidence after fettling but I might just get too confident if you know what I mean so want protection:devious

Nah, if I was the manufacturer I would want my name on my product so as to make the most of free marketing. :devious

Pieman is the main man but I believe Mahoney has created a thread about group buys and is going to see what he can do for us. (He's in the trade)

You'll be grinning from ear to ear after your visit to Griffs, I was. Well worth the journey up to see him, completely changed my bikes performance, made it smoother and it felt like it was so much more responsive to throttle changes. :doug

I can't wait but will have to as they're not doing anything until the 28th:bawling
Don't know if it's just because I'm not used to it but when I shut the throttle she nose dives a lot where as on my last bike she slowed down smoothly:dunno Also bike is set up for an 80kg bloke and I'm 92, plus front end shudder so I'll get him to sort everything:doug

Takes a while to get used to the engine braking, the IL4 engine braking is feeble compared to the V twin motor we have. :eatcorn

Front end diving and judder could all be down to your suspension set up, get Griff to do his suspension workshop and all will become clear.

Your going to the right place to get it all sorted, just remember that Griff works better when his Jaffa Cake supply is continuous. :thumbup

The bungs are done!!

Went and saw Carl on Saturday. Ace bloke, top engineer. He measured up my 2000 aprilia so I'm guessing his measurements will be good for 99-03 milles + Turnos.
Please see attached pics of front and rear bobbins.

Fit, materials and finish are top notch. Don't think you can go wrong.

Carl said to purchase these via his eBay shop - 'Race Spares Direct'. He is already doing them for a good price but I negotiated free postage for RSV forum members so don't forget to mention it. Plus it may well be worth asking if he'll do discounts for the whole set.

Can anyone confirm if Falcos will fit also?
