Cost of new swingarm?????

Anyone no the cost of a new swingarm for 2002rsvr,mine was damaged when knocked of its stand by hgv driver,put a nice ding in swingarm,and some cosmetics.insurence have offerd me a payment.buy not sure it will cover a new swing arm.not that i will get a new one.but i want to allow for new,the scratches alone with new decals i no will not be cheap.thanks all for any info

On Flea Bay they usually go for about £250.00 - £300.00 from a breakers.

Seen quite a few on ebay..Bought a spare for mine for £80 but newer shape one..

yes, i have noticed the older ones seem to fetch more than the newer ones, and can only put it down to the older bikes falling over more often, resulting in damage.

There was a mint one on fleabay that finished last night that went for £115 inc P&P, i know that cos i got outbid on it:rant

Might be to do with the fact that the later ones had a recall and some of the 'replaced' swingarms are in circulation.

irate (supply and demand tends to set prices for second hand things).
I don't see why the old ones would fall over easier than the newer ones.
