hi peeps my bike is 2001 rsv i was sitting in traffic and my bike went up too 116degrees and the fans did not kick in, fuses are all good.......any ideas
:dunno

Was it just the once they failed to cut in or do the fans fail to cut in at all?

Have you recently changed the coolant or had any work done on the bike?

Mine kick in at around 94 degrees.

And the average running temp is around 76 degrees when moving along.

Also check the wires connected to the thermostat.. I had a problem with the fans not working, was a bad connection on the thermostat.

Could be the sensor bud.........i have one if you need it..................:thumbup

try running the fans direct of the battery to ensure they still work.

My fans cut in at 95 and go off about 93 if it's of any help.
