Hi all,

My 2007 T water temp never really goes higher than 77 degrees centigrade and there are no warning lights coming on but i have noticed that the filler bottle on the right hand side under that cover seems to need topping up the last couple of times i have looked. It does not take very much water but i just want to ask what peoples thoughts are?

Its a pain in the arse to access this bottle!

I just wanted to ask if anyone else had any problems like this?

There does not appear to be any leaks could it be that there was air in the system? On my car i had to run the car with the cap off the expansion bottle to allow air out after i flushed the cooling system could this need the same??

Cheers

G'day mpgscott,
Check behind the rad. bottle, as my 2007 f had a small leak from the housing.
Not all the time but occasionally I was smelling coolant when motor had been turned off.
:cheers Perry

G'day mpgscott,
My camera has flat batteries and I haven't found recharger yet :crazy
When you remove the bottle RH side of bike .The housing is just behind it. 2 min.job. It's the water pump housing.

Hi Scott

Had the clips on the short grey pipe on mine leaking when the engine was cold so got them replaced with some jubilees.

Your right about that road, went round it last year to go to Aviemore nice fast and twisty road with no cops around pointing things at you.
If i remember right there is a section of maybe ten miles thats got alot of very slippery sand covering it.Think it maybe the highest road in Britain?Has got an amazing view, wouldn`t fancy tackling it in the middle of January!!

Thanks for that about the clips i will replace.

Yeh your right there seems to be a lot of sand and crap on bits of the road through the trees, but it is good fun!

Had my 07 Tuono for about 6 weeks & noticed a couple of drops of blue coolant on the right side grey 1 inch pipe from the radiator. Level does not seem to be dropping though. I was thinking about a double bubble screen. Is the airblade any good ?
