Hey, anyone been able to swap out the control switches on the port side? Having a devilish time indicating - what with the horn being moved above the indicator, coupled with my girlish small hands. I have read about someone changing it for one from another bike, but the details were very thin, and I can't find the post any more...

***** sake....you're trying to fix something that doesn't need fixing....

Just be getting on with riding it.

:) Would be nice to be able to indicate every time I need to though- cant operate the clutch and change the signal at the same time- sometimes I use my right hand..

Ah but can yer walk and chew gum at the same time. :dunno

The switch gear is unusual but when you get used to it its OK. It does catch you out when jumping from commuter Yamaha to the Tuoldo but personally I prefer the Aprilia switch gear

Yeah, if be fine with it (cos I don't really intend switching bike again) but, as I say, tiny hands. So looking for this info...

WTF I'm now convinced that you are completely taking the piss :pissr :pissl in all your threads

I used to find it difficult indicating whilst pulling the clutch, using both hands on one side of the handlebars made the bike lean over.
To stop this I added a third exhaust ( gen 2 ) to the offside. ( when looking forwards ). It evened the balance up. :thumbup

c, yer should've carried a bag of ballast on the offside,,,,,,,,,,,,they're a lot cheaper than a third exhaust. :yes

Try mirror, signal manoeuvre mucker, if that disnae work then jist indicate afore yer need to change gear.

It's a simple thing to do and I'm surprised yer huvnae worked it oot already.

Quote from another forum. "Also, indicating off of roundabouts is a real pain, as you have to feather it round in first due to the high gearing, but the indicator switch is below the horn, so you can't reach it whilst using the clutch!" Sometimes you have to operate the clutch and indicate at the same time, jus' saying. Anyway, if you hear of what 'switch gear' I can change to feel free to post something constructive ;)

Why don't yer buy a big man left glove and wear wooden splints on yer fingers, that way you'd be able to tickle all sorts of indicators :drool, pull the clutch and fiddle wae whitever. :yes

I'm obviously no as savvy as the dudes on the other forum, tbh a find it better for me to adapt and find a way round whitever rather than sort the problem to suit me.

I love a bit of a challenge though.
