Hi Guys, looking for some help here! Had completed the rectifier wiring mods (3 yellow wires/brown connector) correctly and completed and bike started..excellent. Then started doing the mod to white connector to red/black to fuse holder mod. But forgot to disconnect battery when soldering one of the connections. Fuses check 30amp at battery and 15amp at side of the clocks. Everything comes on and works but now getting this "no Start" read out? WHat do you think? Help!":confused
The bike thinks either the tip over switch or sde stand switch are active. Either the tip over switch is dislodged or upside down or something is conected wrongly. Or you may have damaged part of the diode pack. time to get a meter out

Hi Spooz, I have disconnected the new wiring, side stand is up, cause on paddock stands. Diode pack clicks when removing fuse? Would it mean that is ok? The side stand switch comes on when stand down and off when up so presume ok, Can you tell me what I need to check with meter? many thanks
Diodes are essentially a one way street electrically. They will conduct one way and not the other so look for a low resistance one way, high the other. Have you checked the tip over switch ?
mmmm....canny find it Spoonz...where is it sorry m8. The diodes I thought were working ok, were just behind the computer unit. When I switch the ignition on and off I can feel them all clicking?
Sounds like you are looking at relays. what year is bike as post 04 don;t have the same pack as pre 04. The tip over switch is attached to batt tray in a rubber casing with an arrow and up written on it to show how it should be fitted. If you fit it upside down it thinks your bike is on it's side (crashed)
Ok guys........thanks to Spoonz........I now know what and where the "tip over switch" is. Doh! Doh!! bike has started no problem when it is the right way up!!! Mind dinny tell anybody...what a nobber.:stupid
Thanks again Spoonz, yer on it m8:thumbup Do you think that modification is worth doing? Would need to connect back up again tho, I had used two wires (8amp wire) to connect to the white connector, one for each wire, then joined them together at the 30amp fuse. Would that do any harm?
