As a retirement gift, to myself, I am purchasing a left over Tuono Factory and will be taking ownership soon. I live in Northwestern Washington and I have concerns that I won't get enough necessary heat into my Dragon Super Duper Pirelli tires, while riding around on cold damp country roads, to ever make them work properly "“ meaning that I will tippy-toe around nervously and just wear the centers of the tires out very quickly. I was thinking of getting some more touring/rain kind of tires and putting them on immediately and saving the other tires for a track day. Anybody have ideas or suggestions on what might work well for me?

Pilot road 3's. Best u can get as stated by all the magazines. I've got them and ride in summer with them. Brilliant tyres

agreed with Bay....but they are expensive I'm putting pirelli angels on mine

I had quite a good deal on mine. Seeing as I don't ride for my job etc they'll prob last me a good 2 to 3 years so even though they might be a little more expensive I can justify paying for them. I'd definitely have them again on my bike but saying that I had some Avon Storms on my other bike and they were bloody awesome as well.

BT23's at the mo and very HP with them, Pilot 3's get a good write up so may try them.... That said, reluctant to "change" as i like what ive got - if that makes sense !

Try them Felix. You seriously won't be dissapointed and even though they're expensive they ge tbetter road wear then the Road 2's they replaced. My neighbour had Pilot 2's on his Buell and he had about 7K out of the back. Only done about 2 to 3K on mine and they're still looking like Brand New so maybe get the same or more out of the back. Will keep people updated.

Will bear em in mind when its time to change, hopefully a while away yet though !
