"Clutch Kit" Eh?

Can anyone advise me on this. I have seen a RSV R advertised on Pistonheads, the bloke selling says it is fitted with a clutch kit.

What exactly is this please???

Does it mention Barnett etc...?

More than likely referring to an MPL clutch slave cylinder.

Gives the clutch a lighter feel and is less troublesome than the standard fitment.

PS. Nice bike mate, if when you view it's in good nick, pull his arm off at the socket.

No No, I ain't going to view it! I already have an Edwards Rep of my own, better than his anyday!!

I asked the question because I did not realise there was a mod to make the clutch lighter in feel, what is this mod??

You replace the clutch slave cylinder with an "MPL" manufactured unit. It makes the clutch action about 30 percent lighter and shouldnt need bleeding as much.

Ta v much, i may well give this a bash.

Just back from a trip to the Isle Of Skye, covered about 500 miles in a day and an 'arf, clutch wrist through towns geting sore as hell, either the mod gets fitted or the bike goes for a Touno!!
