I have just had to top up my clutch fluid again (after about 900m) .... is this normal? :dowhat

never need to top mine up, i got the mpl slave cylinder dont know if that makes a difference, should not though

Have you checked all the hoses and banjo bolts for slight leaks, take the slave cylinder off and see if the seal is leaking, is it an OE slave or MPL slave

You'll find you engine oil level getting higher and your clutch starting to slip if its the slave leaking, apparently the 04 to current slaves are better in some way or another i had to change mine last summer but i think i got about 20 miles when mine run low from topping it up.

You'll know if you're losing clutch fluid as it will become harder and harder to get the bike in gear when you're riding - It happened to me last year, and it was the seal in the OE clutch slave

thanks guys, no problem with gears at all, inc the holy neutral ... as I got pished on coming home I'll wait till the bikes dry before I try and find any leaks :dunno

Obtain an MPL clutch slave cylinder..it will be one of the best mods. you can do..and certainly will not regret for one moment..they change a beast of a clutch into a smooth/light action. Duckz Nutz IMHO :thumbup
