went out for afternoon ride today [makes a change cos it usually pees down on my day off] only had bike two weeks[05 rsvr] so needed to get some miles done ,takes a little gettin used to after loads of jap fours ,stopped at aprilla dealer near retford and he showed me how to get instant improvement on clutch... straight after ride out crack open bleed nipple for clutch and let out air bubbles couple of seconds only feels like a new clutch now !! hope this might be usefull for someone ! :

I found it best to rip the slave cylinder off and hold it at an angle so as to have the bleed nipple uppermost. HTH :thumbup

after success with clutch might have a go at bleeding back brake ,been reading in common mods forum is dot4 best or do i need 5.1 thanks mick
Dot 4 is fine. If your bike hasn't already got one fitted get the small aprilia heatshield for the rear mastercylinder that's available for about £8.00 from Aprilia. Bleed as per instructions on this forum.
also heat wrap exhaust pipe under rear brake master cylinder dead easy also wrap the pipe that runs under the rear shock to stop it fading :thumbup

when you first start it after wrap application there is loads of smoke but it burns off pretty quick dont worry:eatcorn
