Just change the clutch plates and secided I would bleed the clutch.:eatcorn

What a fecking disaster.

I connected the syringe to the slave nipple and undid the breathe bolt and injected fresh fluid into the slave and when the resovoir was full i drained all the old fluid out and connected my syringe up to the breathe bolt again, and did this 3 times. The problem now is that the clutch lever has no feel to it it basically pulls to the handlebars without force ffs.

What i have done wrong?

and yes can call me a ******.

connect hose to bleed nipple on slave.....pump lever and undo nipple.... close nipple when lever is at bar....repeat till its feels good....thats what i do and have no problems.....after that i attach hose to MASTER cylinder and bleed a few times there to

dont panic dude... probably pulled in some air off the union where the nipple is, remember you only need to crack it open a little bit... id still use the method you first went for, do a decent bleed then tighten it up and strap the lever to the bar over night just incase you missed any air

English Kiwi but i do speak french now and again :doug

Fixed it and the back brake. :doug:doug

What i did in the end was to make sure that I had fresh fluid in the lines and then sucked all the fluid out from the Slave end using my syringe. couldnt believe the air that came out.

And the rear brake. :doug

I did exactly the same thing by sucking all the air out of the caliper by connecting a syringe to it. and repeatedly filled the resovoir until i sucked fluid and not tiny airbubbles, then the last thing i did was pump the the rear brake with my hand like a :jack as fast as I could before I put the lid back on the resovoir, it was surprising how much air came out of the resovoir using this method.

Anyway gonna start the bike up to see if the Plates are any good, when the little one is awake.
