Hi does anyone know if the clocks from a 2007 rsvr would work on a 2005 bike?

The 2004/5 Rsvr and Factory share the same clocks as the 2006/7/8/9 Rsvr but the 2006/7/8/9 Factory has a different clock (cosmetics only though i beleive)

So yes if it's a 2007 rsvr clock it's the same as a 2005 bike dash.

Last time out I swapped my '06R-F dash with that of an '04R (and back).

No issues - straightforward plug and play.

I believe the later Factory clocks had the words Factory inside the dash which is why it's a different part number. functionally i think they are the same.

Point of information:
The dash stores the reference odometer value, so if you swap the dash, you swap the odometer value.

bit of a thread dig here, but am i understanding correctly thinking i can swap my ugly 99 mille dash for a pretty latter model dash?

not with the 'o4 model onwards. you can use any dash up to 2003. but it's pointless, it's only got a red/orange colour (the newer model)

Yeah, there are a few around that i am interested in. would love to have the factory features of the original though with the lap timer on the switchgear and whatnot.

Might see if i can buy one cheap enough and try to make it fit...

yeah, but i like the whole factory integration of it all. it's just very tidy.

Maybe i'll just swap the whole '06 tuono running gear into the '99 mille... if posible.

Go out and buy a second gen m8, they are pretty cheap the noo and allot better than the gen 1, oh oh i think i might of started something cmon you know it makes sense lol

i have a second gen.. and a first gen.. and i will make them ONE!!! :p I bought 2 wrecks, one repairable (re-registerable) the other not. the 1st gen is the repairable and the 2nd is the stuffed one. Hence the questions that may seem a little stupid in theory, but fit in my current situation (i got both of them for less than half of what 1 decent 2nd gen would cost, and i got lots of bling too!)

Pictures here for anyone interested... http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c287/xacoupe/T bike/
