hi all,my clock suffers from condensation on the inside,i know its a common problem but its starting to wind me up.im tempted to drill a small hole at the top of the clock to allow the moisture to escape ,then fit a tiny plug in the hole after.does anyone have a better idea.cheers

Hi There,

There is another alternative by opening the whole set & then wiping of the condensation off... normally condensation happens due to a worn seal, I suggest you look for that and fix it with a silicon glue, other than that the best idea is as per what you mention by drilling a small hole but that's only a workaround and not the permenant solution.

hi,yer good shout.for some reason i thought the clocks would be a sealed unit.ill look into it on the weekend.cheers:thumbup

I had that problem on a Tuono and fixed it the caveman way - I drilled a small hole in the corner of the unit's face to allow the condensation to clear. I then placed a small square of black electrical tape over the hole. Every so often the unit fogs up so I remove the tape for a day, the screen clears, and then I tape it over again.

Not very sophisticated but it works and you would have to look closely to see the taped over hole.
