Chaps, any tips re above? I guess that a wax polish won't do it, but what does?

Yes have to agree with legs as to using Autoglym super resin polish and the old mr Sheen and pledge do a very good job as pointer RSV says

Not sure about matt finishes but on laquered finishes i use Mr Muscle window cleaner, never smears and easy wipe off, always leaves it nice and shiny :thumbup

You could buy ArmorAll Matt finish dashboard wipes.

Just thought I would ask being a newbie.
One thing I hate doing is spending all day cleaning the bike, realy get bored and yes today was that cleaning day.

I usuraly jet/hose the bike down then out with what ever polish I have at the time, turtle wax, autoglym etc and spend ages polishing it. One thing after polishing I allways seam to have lots of dust gathering on the bike after. I have tried all types of dusters like microfiber etc and nothing seams to change.

Now reading this some people there are using stuff like Mr Sheen multi polish or pledge and this repels dust, is this ok to use on paint work? will it damage the paint? Does it give a nice lasting shine etc? Is it alot quicker, I gess so as normal polish/wax takes ages to do.

Any other suggestions? (cheap one's that is)

Sorry if I am thread ****'ing
