Chrome legs Gold

Hi there im wondering if anyone can help. I have a rsv mille and I would like the chrome tubes to be coated in gold, i think its called titanium coating? I have a company in mind that I have used for various other suspension stuff in the past but Id just like to know if anybody's had theirs done before, where, and what was the cost?

That's crazy talk. The gold fork tubes are titanium nitride. The color is from the actual composition of the metal, one of the thinnest smoothest surface materials known to man. The forks stanson is usually coated with a low friction coating that reduces "stiction". If you want gold forks you need to upgrade to the Ohlins or trade up for a "r" or "factory".

Iv'e looked into this and spoken to these guys Titanium Nitride Coating - DLC Coating I Brook Suspension - the nitride is an electro plating over the original chrome and is available as a service for only £150 to loose tubes.
