Honest opinion - it looks like one of those £20 specials off Ebay mate.
Does the bike perform OK?
If yes, just bolt it all up and leave well alone.
If no, then PM DrRossi for a custom EPROM (Chip). (You won't be disappointed trust me)

Sorry to dig out this old thread but its better than making a new one lol. Does a chip HAVE to be fitted or can it be left removed? I may be getting a new exhaust soon and am not sure the one fitted will compliment the new setup. In addition I should be getting the hooked kit soon as well. Sorry for the newbie questions like

Yeah Ive emailed him mate and he can arrange a good chip, Im still curious if I need a chip in there or not though hmm.

Since you have a 99 model and you still run the original Eprom you won't recognize you're bike.
But please don't believe me !!

DrRossi chips are great, I just put one in my bike. Very impressed
just been out for a blast, get the rossi chip in there! Made mine much more responsive lower down and easier in the tight turns. Waiting for my wideband to be repaired so I can log the afr but im sure Alain has it right. Best 50 euros you will spend on your bike!

reading all the above i thought i'd have a look at mine thinking if i have a standard one i would go for one of dr rossi's chips. this is what i found....is that good:dunno:confused

That's a nice Eprom.
Quite strong and fine fuelling.
Might be a little nervous around town.
The trim pots are to adjust the duration of the injection.
You set you're Co with these so don't go changing anything if you're bike runs fine.
