I bought a chip from DrRossi on the forum and for two days ago I installed it in the bike.
Question 1
I was notice something when I open the ECU box, it has been opend before. Here is a pic from the chip I found there.
What kind of chip is this?
Question 2
I was reading on this site (http://www.geocities.com/sl_mille/dyno-install.html) and there is says "You may now safely place RTV on the new EPROM/daughterboard for vibration protection."
Is this meaning usual silicone? The old chip have som silicon on it to keep it in place so I put some new silicone on the new eprom to.
I jused usually buildning silicone, is thats fine? Or should I juse any special silicone?
