checking the valves V990 ( IOOOR Mille)

Urmmm...I m looking at the engine workshop manual, and I dont see a nice section entitled "Checking valve clearances"....Index is pretty unhelpful also !
Can anyone point me at the info I seek ? Im probably just being stoopid, page number chapter and verse, that's what I need ! :confused

Ooops..Looking in the wrong book !:hmm No dramas, now found it in the workshop manual !

Jeez...I been thru the engine manual, AND the service manual...nothing except reference to yet another manual...?
Someone on here must have done this PITA job themselves...WHERES THE INFO ?
