Saw these posted on another site & decided to buy a set as at £17 delivered, it was rude not to :dunno

1 Set New CNC Brake Clutch Levers Fit For APRILIA TUONO/R 2003-2009 | eBay

Heard pros & cons, seen good & bad comments so guess I'm just gonna have to find out for myself. Here's hoping they don't snap or cause the callipers to seize whilst moving otherwise the £17 investment could become more costly!

i had a set like those on my speed trip . and did a good few thousand miles with them on and had no probs whatsoever .

I got asv,s fitted to my T . there is a tremendous difference in quality and cost , but IMHO worth it !!

I had some ****** levers, I done about 3000 miles with them, no problems at all.
I'd buy them again.

would you want to tarnish a quality machine with cheapo stuff tho , when you compare summat like a Suzuki with an aprilia .
the fixtures and fittings on the aprilia are far superior to the suzook ,

a machine is only the sum total of its components . ie cheap lookin stuff will only make your steed look cheap .

Had them on my r6 and have them on my tuono, looks ok (they don't look cheap!) and does the job just like original levers does. My brother had pazzo levers on his gsxr and they do look and maybe feel a bit better, but they do same job, only cost ten times more!!!

:lol

Nah.........I've given it up Ash
I've come to the conclusion pikeys can't be educated. :lol

Saw the post about these on rsvr.net & read your comments on there. Plenty of pros & cons, if right I believe your replies were negative down to patent, manufacturer & staffing costs so we should pay more to justify this? Shame the big manufacturing players in the UK that choose to outsource to the far east don't see it through your eyes :dunno

Anyway, must dash got some **** grabbing & rabbit haring to do this afternoon before my work tarmacing tonight :lol

Fuckit if they look good for you then why not try em n see if not after a while get some different ones n for the price ov a nearly full tank ov fuel which don't last that long ain't lost out really, av you got em yet ? I noticed they coming from hk probably take weeks n ya might av to pay duty on em ?

I agree they do look ok and the qualitys not bad either, at the end of the day where are all these expensive levers made !

i went from cheapy chinese levers to asv, the lever itself feels better in the hand on the asv, the range of adjustment is great as with the cheapy ones i just couldn't get the leaver where i wanted it. where the asv lets itself down, or should i say 'leaps of beachy head' is the fit of the lever in the master cylinder itself, all i can say is they must of been measured and machined by steevie wonder!!! the fit is bloody awful to say the least honestly you could drive a bus between the lever and the m/c!!!

I had Oberon levers on my old Gen 1, they were excellent, quality, fit and operation.
I have some ASV's on the way now, each to their own.

Sorry Rob, but that's an entirely different argument isn't it?
If you own the intellectual copyright of something then it's up to you how and where you manufacture.
There's nothing wrong with that as far as I can see, it helps keep costs down doesn't it?

:)

So 2 weeks later to the day they arrived in the post.

No excise duty to pay & well packaged. Having looked closely they are faultless & appear no different to a previous set of Titax levers I paid over £100 for. Be interesting to see if they stand the test of time but for £17 delivered I can’t grumble :crazy

I can only agree with you Robbo, I have just fitted a pair of these yesterday - fitting was dead easy and appears to be an excellent fit. I paid full Aprilia price for one replacement lever for my last bike (Mille 2000) and that cost more than the cost of a pair of these "******" levers.
I'm well pleased with the quality and finish of these and think they look the dogs b's.

If it looks right then it probably is right :thumbup

Cheers
Gray :cheers

I bought Chinese levers a few times and have not had any issues. They look good and work as they're supposed to. I figured for $24.99 delivered if I don't like them I'll toss em and buy a good set...

Hi, not been on here for a while. I've been looking for a set of levers, did you get the regular or the shorty?

Ones pictured above are short if helps - about 30mm difference between the two I think?
