I have the genuine Aprilia carbon fibre part and although it lacks shine it is a well made bit of carbon fibre.
PS. I paid £12 plus £5 delivery for mine cause someone couldn't spell carbon fibre. LOL

When my dash cover arrived I must admit I was disappointed with the way it looked but now I actually quite like the non shiny version.
If I get bored I may have a go or get it lacquered professionally.
