I'm going to attempt this myself for the first time, got a new DID X ring, 15 tooth front spocket and 42 tooth rear. So any tips would be useful.

adjust the chain before you rivet the link

Dont over do the rivet cos it can give you a tight spot

Thanks chaps, BB, do you mean set the chain slack on the axle adjusters before riveting?
Been watching a few Utube vids on the subject, the guy using the show laces is hilarious but not in a good way.

here are a few:
Loosen Front sprocket before you take the chain off! makes it easy to remove then pending on how tight it was put on.
Once rear wheel is out you can then change rear sprocket, no point in trying to loosen before hand as they don't

ther rest they say is simple!

when i done the blade in the past ive put it on paddock stand - put in gear and got a helper to put back brake on the undo the sprocket bolt worked fine

I'm putting my new front sprocket on this weekend, anybody know what size the sprocket nut is for a 2000 mille??

Got one of them, great bit of kit.:thumbup. Still looking for the BoneyM front lift though.
