chain +sprocket?

my chain snapped fri night. in the market for a new one. gonna change sprockets too. told i should change it all together.i like the gold chain. any info on which chain and sprockets?. number of teeth etc?
i know you've all got you prefferences!!!

Are your sprockets worn :dunno

As a rule, I would always change them as a job lot, if you put a new chain on worn sprockets (or vice versa) you'll fcuk em up again. :thumbup

not really worn but for all it is price wise to change em. reading past threads about it and it seems 16 tooth front and 44 rear with a 110 link chain pops up often. that okay for my 03 mille?

Thats ok for my model (2000) as my std sizes are 17t & 42t rear with 108 links.

I dropped front to a 16t, but if I went to 44t rear I'd have to change the chain to 110.

Badger said going to 15t front ( & keeping original 42t rear) gives virtually same peformance as 16t & 44t, but then I could use original chain which saves paying £100 for a new chain :thumbup

For your model bike tho' :dunno
