My mille has been written off on cat b so parts only.Only the frame was cracked and fairing wrecked rest is fine. Anyone know if I get a new frame if I can use it again on the road?

Firstly, it's my understanding a Cat B must be given up to a registered dismantler, to ensure the frame's destroyed?

Anyhoot, you'll need to swap everything into the replacement frame and re-MOT it (assuming the replacement frame still carries a reg number, VIN plate & headstock stamp unmolested). Apply to DVLA for a new V5c in your name, with an engine number change, that should be it. However, DVLA may at any time request a single vehicle test if they have any reason to suspect iffy-ness

Sweet thought I might be able to do that. Was thinking about street fightering it although I do love the mille would like to restore to former glory but im assuming it's going to be expensive for fairing

Got a 2001 frame & full Diablo Black/Flouro bodykit sitting here Nick........

Frame's available for £175. HPI clear with V5. Shipping shouldn't be more than £20

Bodykit is not quite available at the moment. The 01 I've taken it from is wearing a Haga kit now, & for sale on Ebay. I've noted in the listing that if the buyer of the bike wants the kit he'll have first refusal so it's probably only fair to wait for the bike to sell before making a decision. Will finish week on Sunday
