CArtagena trackday pics

V

V_senna

Was a hard track to learn, first day I hated it, second and third I manage to get into abit of a flow, and the last 30 mins of the 3rd day as tired as I was I wanted to keep riding, faster and faster, until finally I overshot a corner, off the throttle, and the front washed out, into the kitty litter I went lol, was only a little one, only scratches, best thing is I have it on video!

Enjoy :biggrin

Recommend the trip/cost/organisation?

Oh yes, and did you mention video? :devious

i've put the vid on youtube but its still being processed or something so won't give me a link?

I would recommend the trip 100%, focused events pretty much did as they said they would, the track is very difficult, and even by the third day there was still a couple of corners I just couldn't suss, I would like to do another one of these trips, maybe something like jerez next

Jealous ...Moi !!, no not all .............................wanders off crying, muttering about the winter, looks for a virgin to sacrifice to the sun & trackday gods

Yeah, it's very technical - didn't really get it completely right until I had coaching with Adrian Coates on the last day. Then I could have done with another couple of days to practice what I'd learned! 'Tis fun though.
Got your bike back yet? Give it a good check over when you get it off the truck as mine was scratched.

Eeeeeee, all that sunshine,i just wanna be there.

Good vid mate, all credit to the guy about the two minute mark on the R1 with no left arm:wow

That bunch of slower guys you passed at the end must have been giggling a bit, horrible noise when you go down.

Listening to the engine tone, it sounds like you got on the gas a bit to early in the corner and unloaded the forks causing the front to go, i might be wrong, but it sounded like it.

Thanks for the vid though fella:thumbup

:thumbup:thumbupnice vid mate

wish i could ride like that..without the falling off bit.

respect to the matey on the r1 ,he would of lapped me twice at least ,and he only had one arm...BIG respect
