Ditto mate, I bought mine about 1 month ago now. I've washed it, polished it, showed it off to every body who I could drag into the garage. Really can't wait to ride it lol, stupid weather! :pirate
:thumbup

******, just noticed which part of Cheshire are you from?

this has been the worst 2 weeks of my riding life...at least I got to ride from Kent to Cambridge yesterday.
what do you mean roll on summer? its dry and highs of 9 tomorrow.....kent ride out anyone?

Actually the bike isn't taxed or mot'd yet.

been waiting two months for my first ride.soon as it hits 4 degrees i'm out.

im from winsford i also got mind cheaper as it is winter so carnt have it all ways i guess its just around the corner

well couldnt wait any longer.... just been out for an hour and a half to savour the sound and the grunt :doug but TBH its still a bit of a hollow feeling.

Plus i reckon it'll take longer than that to clean the bloody salt and crud off :puke

but i felt good in places and the old adrenal gland got a bit of a work out once or twice when she spun up

so all in all i'd see if you've got the same urge its gotta be done!! :thumbup:biggrin:thumbup

I agree it's been a tough few weeks.
Went out for a little spin yesterday, damn it felt good :thumbup

So how many of you have been out for a ride today? it was the hottest day of the year and I have been left looking after 2 of the kids whilst the wife takes the other one to Brownie camp for the weekend!!! I am not a happy man.....mind you the wife aint been in me ear all weekend:devious:devious

not out today but brushed some of the salt off ready for going back to work tomorrow. first time I've ridden her in nearly 2 weeks!! That's a record!

I managed a blast to Southport and bag via Maghull lanes. Had the Mille a week and couldnt wait, roads were still a bit greasy and covered in **** but not bad and bike was everything i thought it would be. :thumbup

First ride out today up the cat and fiddle Buxton, poor riding conditions with salt and grit down but was quite surreal riding between 5 foot snow drifts on either side of the road.
Lots of surface water from the melting snow, very steady ride but great fun just to get out again.

Just gonna have to wait

Got my bike from Smiffy on Friday looked at the weather was sunny but the roads were wet with salt! As much as I wanted to go out I had spent all day saturday cleaning and playing with it will just have to wait for a dry day.Wish I bloody lived in Australia!

i was soooooo tempted. The roads were drying nicely by 2pm in the mids but i resisted the temptation purely because theyre is still a lot of salt around.

dont want to ruin that gorgeous frame and swingarm for the sake of 30 mins pleasure. I'll hold off for a few more weeks.

Its still taxed and ready to roll so come on weather pick up please

After buying the bike two weeks ago, took it out for the first time yesterday, took it easy at first then curiosity took over, first bike Ive had to lift the front wheel on its own no clutch with a full tank and my ample 16 stone frame. chuffed to bits roll on the spring!:doug
