Does anyone know from where I can get the lower fairing panels, in carbon fibre, for a 2009 RSVR? The exhaust ane engine heat has made a mess of mine, so looking to upgrade, but these panels are hard to find.

Try Wicked Coatings Bournemouth they do carbon dipping. They carbon dip lots of stuff inside engine bays so it heat resistant. Have a look on their site, there is a load pics of bikes they have done. I will be getting mine done after the summer a 2005 factory. It's a good solution and the original parts always fit good also cheaper. My brother had parts on his Fireblade and Tuno done and it was impressive. They can dip almost anything, I shall be getting my wheels done aswell easier to keep clean.I hope this is some help to you.

Thanks for the reply, but Aprilia parts are never cheaper, and the quality isn't that great, either. I have found various other parts in carbon (cheaper than OEM), but finding the lower fairing panels/bellypan has proved more illusive. The search continues...

Sorry what I ment was getting your bellypan carbon dipped, it's alot harder than paint and heat resistant. All you will have to pay for is the coating and you can't tell the difference, maybe the weight but it looks the same they will repair small imperfections and once coated. Did have look on their site, your panels could look like new carbon ones.Good luck.

Still not an option for me, unfortunately. The reason being is that my panels are distorted from the heat, and one has a hole burnt through it where the heat insulator had cracked and fell off. Rubbish design.
