Capo discontinued

I was told this week that the capo is discontinued along with the MG Stelvio. My MV dealer who is also a Piaggio dealer, told me yesterday. He tells me he has put in a bid for a load of discontinued bikes to stock up his new showroom. Along with these two also some MG cruisers and also he tells me that of the new 900's only the Shiver is coming into the UK, No Douso. Piss poor I say.

My dealer told me the same unfortunately. I love my Capo. He actually suggested to Aprilia to keep making the Capo but change the engine by dropping in a detuned RSV4 engine and correcting some of the small niggly issues. Wouldn't that be nice! Oh well we could only imagine.

Cheers guys......we worked that out long ago......before the dealers even knew (or were prepared to admit).

I suspect the last Capo production run at the factory could have been way back in late 2015.....these would have been mostly for 2016MY Rally's.

A great bike, but now history.....great buying if there are any left at clearance prices.

Have a read of the 2014-2017 AF1 forum......lots of stories (and complaints.....always complaints on forums) and heaps of photos and accessories.......and great emoji's

Thanks for the tip mate, I'll check out the forum, sounds interesting. Who knows maybe someday they may resurrect the Capo again.

The Last 10 Years

I heard that Capo was discontinued 10 years ago. Is there a crossover index for spare parts? I have a few Honda parts on my bike.
