Guys... :pirate

recently ive noticed it becoming increasingly hard to find neautral when stopped, i can get it easy when rolling and when the bike is turned off just not when its running..

Ive tried blipping the throttle to see if that helps but no no it's just really solid then when it does move i'm into 2nd....

also i've tried winding in the adjuster on the leaver just incase i wasn't getting full purchase but nope still bollox..

from what i've read this sounds like a warn sprag to mee...

the other thing i had when going up to the ace cafe streetfighters night the other day was when i was shifting up casually without great load on the engine it would sort of shift but "miss" so i would be into neautral inbetween lets say 4-5 or maybe 3-4..... happend only twice but to me i recon this could be the same as above... worn sprag?

help would be mutcho aprecio! :thumbup

Nothing to do with your sprag Mate. There's lots on here about difficulty in getting neutral. Check your chain's adjusted properly. If still a problem you're looking at a smaller clutch oil jet and/or an aftermarket clutch slave cylinder.

The Sprag only relates to starting the bike as Buzz say's. Not sure what year your model is but I would do the following.

1. Bleed the clutch thoroughly
2. Check that the pin in the clutch lever isnt moving (the little lock screw can fall out)
3. Check when your oil was last changed
4. Change the Oil control jet for a #40
5. Check clutchplate wear depending on mileage

I find it difficult sometimes but with a bit of play I usually find it. What it works best for me is finding neutral from 2nd down rather than from 1st up. Mine is an 02

check the oil level as mine starts to run low it gets i bit fidly to find
as already said 2nd down i find best

I'm having the same problem finding neutral on my 2005 RSVR. Did you manage to sort the problem out?
